The high-tech zone has this modern energy with plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, though I’d recommend trying the Sichuan places nearby rather than sticking to international chains. The metro isn’t far either, so getting to the old city center for sightseeing is straightforward.

The hotel’s restaurant serves a solid mix of Chinese and Western breakfast options — nothing fancy, but the congee was properly made and the coffee was actually drinkable (which isn’t always a given). I mean, you’re not coming here for a culinary experience, but they cover the basics well. The business center and meeting facilities looked well-equipped, though I didn’t use them myself. There’s also a fitness center that’s small but has the essentials if you need to work off all that amazing Chengdu food.
